I am a lecturer with over seven years of experience in teaching, research and mentoring in the academia. I have been recognised on numerous occasions for excellence and contributions to knowledge in the development of low-cost titanium alloys and aluminium matrix composites.  My strengths lie in collaborative research, academic writing and public engagement that are backed by training in metallurgy and science communication.
